Concealed Defensive Pistol (EDC) - $125

The course of instruction will be focused on the Every Day Carry or EDC Pistol and working the gun from concealment to resolve real world problems to distances of 25 yards.  We will work on proper concealment and safe presentation of the pistol from concealment.  We will review the legal requirements for the use of justifiable deadly force in self defense.  We will work through a series of drills that include drawing and shooting from concealment, moving to and from a firing position, addressing multiple threat targets, use of ballistic cover, and emergency or "speed" reloading.

You will need a defensive pistol, secure concealment holster, 3 magazines, concealed magazine carrier, and clothing that conceals your pistol.  You should wear the equipment the way that you carry your CCW pistol.  Generally this will be with a quality IWB/OWB concealment holster.  AIWB holsters allowed if your can demonstrate proficiency.  Shoulder holsters are not allowed without prior instructor approval.  Plan to shoot 200-250 rounds pistol.

• Practical application of the defensive pistol from close to extended range (3yds to 25yds)

Equipment Required:

• Modern defensive pistol or revolver with a concealment holster
• 2-3 magazines or speed loaders with matching concealable belt pouch
• Concealment garment or other appropriate concealment clothing
• Factory produced training ammunition matching your firearm's caliber (250 rounds)
• Eye protection (safety glasses or polycarbonate lenses in perscription eyeware)
• Ear protection (electronic shooting ear muffs highly suggested)
• Seasonally appropriate clothing suitable for outdoor activities (no low scooped neck shirts or tops)
• Closed toe shoes or boots suitable for outdoor activities
• A baseball style cap or visor to help protect your face
• Water, sports drinks, & snacks to maintain yourself during moderate physical activity
• COVID 19 precautions - sanitize hands, maintain 6' social distancing, use face coverings where appropriate
