About the Event

This  is a developmental skills course focused on the practical use of the  defensive shotgun.    It is a great course to continue your training  progression and will provide an opportunity to learn new skills while  improving upon your existing skill set.  The material will be presented  in a crawl, walk, run manner and in an easy to understand building block  approach.

Points of Instruction (POI) Include:

  • Benefits of the shotgun for personal & home defense

  • Proper firearm manipulation and nomenclature

  • Practical storage options for readiness in the home or vehicle (where lawful)

  • Proper use of the tactical sling (2 point quick adjust style preferred)

  • Deployment using ready and carry positions

  • Reloading techniques for the shotgun (speed / tactical options)
